Children and Families
We welcome families with children of all ages…wiggles and giggles make us smile!
Worship/Activity Bags are available upon entry. Just request one from the greeter. Pastor Jared invites children of all ages to come forward for a brief Children’s Time each week. Parents are welcome to accompany the littles if it makes them feel more comfortable.
Children’s Church is offered during Pastor Jared’s message in the Narthex each week. Kiddos can enjoy a Bible story and a craft. You can accompany your child to this, too, if they are hesitant.
Cross Trails Ministry provides fun camps for families and youth of all ages at Camp Chrysalis and Ebert Ranch. Information on all this amazing ministry has to offer can be found at www.crosstrails.org.
Accessibility
The Sanctuary is ADA compliant.
Communion can be celebrated at the communion rail or brought to individuals in the pews.
Just let the greeter know if you have any special needs when you arrive, and we will do our best to accommodate and make you feel comfortable.
Worship Experience
Our services follow a traditional format, beginning with a song. There will be several prayers and three short readings from the Bible. Pastor Jared will deliver a message that helps clarify the readings and makes them relevant to our day-to-day life…He is SO good at this! We celebrate Communion every Sunday. All are welcome to take part. The service ends with another hymn. Worship lasts about an hour. Although traditional, our worship services are not boring!
Our weekly bulletin (presented to each person by the greeters as we enter the church) is a great guide for what to expect. There are times in the service that we will stand or kneel. There is a time that we share God’s peace with one another (It’s one of our favorite parts…Pastor Jared is still getting used to it!) We will do our best to be sure there are no surprises. Feel free to participate as you feel comfortable.
During service each Sunday we take an offering of financial gifts. As our guest, you’re not expected to give any money. That decision is totally up to you. You are welcome to join in God’s work at Grace as you feel you are ready.
